For context I’m 5”2’ and for 2 years was lifting weights 5x a week but became really unhappy with how my body looked (I’ve been small my whole life) so I wanted to stop lifting weights and return back to my old weight (50kg).
I started at 56kg eating 1800 to maintain. I dropped down to 1500 calories, stopped lifting weights but replaced it with doing yoga daily. Within a couple months I lost almost 4kg.
Late December I hit 51.5kg and since then my weight hasn’t gone down despite dropping my calories to 1400 and starting some light weight training 1-2x a week, increasing the intensity of my yoga, and doing more low intensity cardio throughout the day.
What could be the cause of this plateau despite my calories decreasing and my exercise increasing. I’m very experienced with tracking my calories and I weigh almost everything I eat so i know my calories are accurate.
