Chocolate addiction

Has anyone here successfully beat a chocolate addiction?

I really need help in trying to break my addiction for chocolate. I love chocolate and use it as a mood lifter. The sugar gives me a satisfaction.

I spent like 3 months without chocolate but with winter and christmas recently i had one chocolate bar and here i am again, can't seem to give up. I've been trying so hard but if i dont have chocolate i get grumpy and stressed. It's the initial cravings in the first weeks that are the main problem and worst. After that it becomes easier and i don't think about chocolate anymore. I was doing great and almost reaching my GW which made me losen up a bit, but eventually, i've gained like 2 pounds. Not even dark chocolate seems to help. I need to cut it out completely.

What should I do? Has anyone else experienced this and gotten rid of the addiction?
