did i just lose 5 kg in two days? also i open my heart a bit sry

i'm 78 kg (171.9 lbs), 1,76m (5.8 ft), 21 years old. male.

since june 2021 i started lifting weights and tracking my weight every day in the morning, because a couple of months prior to that i almost got to 100 kg (220 lbs)... i was depressed, sedentary and overindulging on a lot of bad habits...

when august came i already was at 85 kg (178 lbs), it was an awesome positive feedback loop that trust me when i say that it made me forget all of my traumas and insecurities, but at the begining of november, for some reason when i hit 80kg (and i was aiming for lower, the dream is to get inside the 70's), i got satisfied and resumed my degenerate lifestyle, eating junk food, i stopped tracking my weight and gained 3 more kg. (so 83 or 84 kg, okay i weighted myself this one time lol)

that's been going on for until this week, but now i got a job and basically i have to be standing up and doing stuff pretty much all day and i have almost no drive to eat on my lunch break (probably because of the adrenaline and happiness, i needed this badly)...

so after the second day of working there i got curious: "for the last two days i ate just 2 or 3 meals, how's my weight now?" the answer was a shocking 78 kg that i didn't expect... before that i had pizza, burgers, generalized junk food every other day, food that wouldn't let me lose weight... also i wasn't all active anymore, the max i would do would be some push ups at home and that's it.

it was probably muscle mass gone away but at least i feel my calves (a bit too much actually lol, first day of work was calves cramp day at the end).

this post is a question: is it actually possible to lose 5 freaking kilos in just two days?? but it's also a manifestation of how happy i am that i wanna share somewhere because i feel like i wanna tell about the positive feedback loop: when you lose your first 5 kgs (11 lbs) it's snowball, baby.. but only if you have the correct mindset: look at the numbers, endure the pain, enjoy the pain, enjoy the journey.

for you who read this until the end i'm grateful, and i trust that you can do it, and if you've already got rid of that fat, i respect you a lot, it can't have been easy.. but keep going, we can reach more than we know. more than they know.
