For all the ladies out there

This post is gonna sound stupid so I apologize in advance but for all the ladies out there, how do y'all stay on track when on your period? I get really bad cramps the first 2 days but I still try and do at least 8k steps. My problem is eating though, like, I get super nauseous and nothing sounds appetizing. I'm supposed to eat around 1400 calories a day but I can barely make it to like 600 calories during this punishment from Mother Nature before being on the verge of throwing up. How do y'all do it? What do y'all do? Again, sorry for such a stupid post and for whining. Thanks in advance.
