I’ve recently been suffering with a throat infection/cold that has been going on for the past 4 days. I’ve been in bed ALL DAY watching TV, literally doing nothing. I’ve been super strict with my routine and felt super motivated but now I have slowly started to eat more that I didn’t want to eat before (cake, fries, junk food) and I really don’t want to mess up my diet. I’ve lost 4kg and still want to continue but I have no motivation and I feel so weak and sick and with being at home, I get bored and eat. Any ways to prevent this? I already today had Indian food (Naan and biryani) toast, coffee and a breakfast bar which is way more than I usually eat. Yesterday I had McDonald’s, and the day before, cake/fries, and it makes me upset because i really disappointed myself. I had no desire to eat junk food before being sick but did. I also will probably eat junk until I recover. Any advice to prevent eating terrible when sick would be greatly appreciated. I usually do 800-1200cals a day and now I’ve probably been hitting 1500-2200 :(
