First time poster. I’m a month away from 50 and a female and 5’5 and a half. I had an ED since age 12. Both Anx and Bulimia. I have been in recovery for 18 years after rehab in Canada at age 32. I gained a ton of weight and I’m trying to slim down now but still in recovery. Can anyone relate?

I guess I just feel very comfortable with restricting and obsessing about calories and intake/calories burned. I don’t own a scale. I was on the border of “obese” when I decided that maybe my depression and social anxiety was because of my weight. I’m in therapy, still, and on meds for depression, anxiety and CPTSD. With a Psychiatrist. I have a legitimate 15-25 pounds to lose to be at a “normal” BMI. I might be exaggerating. And Binge Disorder is the same as Bulimia except Bulimics try to throw it all up. Does anyone have any responses? Thanks.
