Anyone found a SUSTAINABLE diet that has worked?

So at my worst I probably weighed around 320ish? Not sure exactly, but I got all the way down to 220 after some hardcore(and im pretty sure super unhealthy) dieting. Would only have a container of lunchmeat one day, just lemonade for a day, then have a few days where I only ate one huge meal(normally low or no carb). This made me lose the weight super duper quickly(like all that loss in a few months). But then I relapsed into eating a bunch of junk food and “working out” less(my only work out per say was walking). Recently I went from a VERY physical job to a mildly physical job and have noticed myself gaining even more weight than I already have gained from the junk food. Just looking for some inspiration for a healthy diet that is easier to permanently stick to.
