substitutions for bad snacking habits?

So i love snacking. A lot. I snack when I'm watching TV, when I'm bored, gaming with friends, and so on. It's ha bad habit I've picked up over the course of 15 or so years and I feel like it's the last thing holding me back from losing the belly.

So my question is simply - are there any other habits you guys can suggest that I can replace thst with? I've tried doing push ups whenever I get the urge to snack and it helps a little bit stopping a game or movie with friends to do push-ups isn't really viable lol.

Chewing gum also didn't work, ironically just made me more hungry.

So far the most effective method has just been: feel snacking? Drink a glass of water.

While this has been effective it's also rather... boring, lol, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for other things I could throw in the mix?
