Halfway there but...

So, as the title says I'm halfway to my weight loss goal. I started out at 307 and want to get to 200. Well on Friday I was 253. So 54 out of 107 done. So the issue Im having is lately I'm thinking about food all the time, more like fantasizing about food really, and I'm hungry all the time. It wasn't like this like a month ago. I'm wondering if the Lose it app adjusting my calories down as I lose weight is causing me to be hungry. When I first started it had me eating around 1750 calories a day(I set it to lose 2 pounds a week) but now it's down to 1500 a day. I'm a 45m who is 6'1.75". I have a large frame and am pretty muscular but I don't excersise or lift weights at all for a long time due to health issues. 1500 seems pretty low to me but that's what all the TDEE calculators say I need for a 1000 calorie defecit. I should also add that I lost the 54 pounds in 3.5 months. I started CICO on September 1st. This is a lot faster than I would expect, especially with Thanksgiving last month and all. Do I maybe have a higher than expected metabolism for a sedentary person? I eat good home cooked food for every meal and I don't eat any junk or desserts anymore, aside from a, once a month, cheat day, and well Thanksgiving was an extra cheat day. Should I maybe add a few calories to my diet? Or just tough it out for now?
