recently, i (22f) have gone cold turkey on ALL substances. go me! alcohol, drugs, nicotine, i am cleaaaan. so why the hell can't i give up wanting to eat literally any time i sit down to watch tv?!
i know the "easy" answer is to just stop doing that, but come on. i'm not going out partying 24/7 anymore, which i actually thought would be a harder lifestyle to give up. but now i just have so much time on my hands and nothing else to do. i go to the gym for about an hour a day, but i know i won't make any progress if i can't get this under control. i'm 5'7 and 127 pounds, but i look very "skinny fat" and i really think it has to do with my random snacking. i eat so healthy throughout the day and then as soon as i'm alone it's like i'm a little monster lol.
has anyone successfully given up random snacking? why is it harder than giving up other substances? please no mean comments on this, i just want to take care of myself because i'm the only thing i've got right now.
