I officially have high cholesterol

My doctor called today with my blood work results. I have high cholesterol. I've been plant based (but not very strictly) for almost 2 years so I didn't think that would be possible at all.

So now I have to cut out processed carbs, processed sugar, all animal products. No juice, soda, baked goods, pasta. That's all I eat. I knew I would have to cut back to lose weight. But now it's a matter of health, not just a number on the scale.

Anyone successfully bring their cholesterol down naturally? What did you do?

I'm 5'4 and 191lbs currently.
