Last time I posted, I lost 5 pounds. It was a struggle to even lose that much. I've lost 10 now and counting.
I take medical steroids which make a person unbelievably hungry. Your stomach is a bottomless pit. You want to eat everything in sight. On top of that it messes up the way your body breaks down carbs and slows metabolism. I'm also on an antipsychotic that causes increased appetite.
I tried to get my hunger to disappear by drinking hot tea, volume eating, drinking large glass of water before meals, chewing sugarless gum, drinking sugarless and zero/low cal drinks, reducing carbs, and so on.
None of it worked.
The only thing that has worked is actually not fixing the issue at all: it is getting used to feeling hungry all the time.
It took a lot of discipline at first and some set-backs.
But now? I have come used to that feeling that is always there.
Now, I don't feel the urge to act on it every time.
I know this might not work for everyone but when your body is fighting against you and nothing else works it might be the only way.
I feel hungry all the time. That is just how it is. It isn't the best, but I'm okay with it.
Living my life especially getting outside on my mobility scooter (I'm physically disabled) really helps my mood which makes me not want to cave in and eat.
I'm probably going to get downvoted because this is bad advice but it's the best I could come up with for my situation.
