As a 14 year old girl who is 5'1 and 120 lbs, my whole life my mom has been making harsh comments about my weight. By this point I am quite used to it and actually don't understand what the mean words are for considering both my parents never had the ideal body type to begin with, and the things she said never bothered me anyway. Yes, I am taller than my mom, and I do exercise, I dance and play basketball. Anyway recently my mom has really been saying things every time she sees me, because of a wedding coming up, about how I need to lose weight and have to be "size 0" otherwise "I won't fit in any clothes and no one will like me," She also says I need to stop eating rice (I am indian, so rice is my entire diet) but she is the one who give me food, HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPPOSED TO LOSE WIGHT IF YOU ARE GIVING ME GOD DAMN RICE EVERY SINGLE DAY. I don't understand how her brain works, does she not hear herself? I have been starting to skip some meals now and then, and only eat when I'm hungry. The point is I want to lose weight and I want to lose it fast, but I want to do something that won't make my mom questions what I am doing, and just make her satisfied. I personally love how I look and its always really upsetting to hear my mom call me a "fat pig" anyway please give me some advice, thank you
