My sister in law asked if I was going to lose a lot of weight.

My sister in law and I do not get along for a variety of reasons but mostly because of exactly this type of comment, “wow the hiking paths near your new place are amazing, are you going to lose a ton of weight?” Five years ago I lost over 80 pounds, some of it has come back because of Covid stress (quarantine 15 was real y’all) and I had surgery which left me unable to exercise for a month. So yeah, I’ve gained weight, however these types of comments are just so irritating to me. She didn’t encourage me while I was losing weight the first time around, barely noticed when I had lost all the weight, but boy oh boy the second I put SOME back on she’s right there. I am on track, I work out 4-5x a week on top of walking an hour every day. I watch how I eat closely and I probably most important of all I’m consistent. I just feel a little discouraged I guess.
