Mental health Awareness

I like this sub mostly for the success stories and tips and community that you create. But more and more often am I coming across posts and reading them and the individual is usually very mentally ill (I’m speaking about outright Suggestions to starve, hurt or Kill themselves) Or a comment that usually alludes to “Fat people don’t deserve [x thing here”.

And it made me realize as much as we are doing great things for our bodies we also need to give a little of that love to our minds. For example you lost all the weight, got a significant other and all these great things but you’re never able to fully enjoy them because of the mental anguish you feel. Sometimes it’s the anger, sadness or jealousy for not being able to access a life like this. Sometimes is other things either way it’s concerning.

I guess I made this post to indicate a slight issue I am seeing more and more on this sub and also as a reminder to “take care of the mental” for anyone who needs it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day 💛💛💛
