Hello I 24(f) am 5'3 and have weighed around 150lbs for the last 3 years, my highest weight was around 180-190 right after I graduated highschool, and I got down to 150 just by walking alot with my partner. I have never tried for a long time to lose weight but I am at a point in my life where I am trying to make a lifestyle change, healthy eating, exercising not really for the number on the scale but to keep my body healthy.
With all that being said I would like to lose a few inches and tone up, it's not my main goal but it would feel nice. This last month I have added exercise to my routine, working out around 3 days a week following 30-40min videos from YouTube. I was hoping this would make a difference visually, I do feel better, more confident, strong, and agile, but I was hoping to lose some body fat.
What are some things I should do? I eat between 2-3 meals a day I tend to unintentionally intermittent fast, not eating my first meal until between 11-2, and I don't feel I eat bad, I've been maintaining the same weight for several years now without exercise.
I was thinking of adding yoga and long walks or runs into my routine, I am just worried if I do to much it won't be a long lasting routine which is my hope. To create a lifestyle I can and will want to maintain.
Thank you for any advice, I really appreciate it
