I’ve been trying for four years and there’s not much progress to brag about yet. Four years ago I gained 100 pounds in a year. I was in a toxic job, a toxic relationship, and gave up on healthy eating and exercise habits because, honestly, I was just thing to survive and not die. I was dealing with cutting ties with my ex and moving, chronic panic attacks, acute depression, anxiety, and drinking too much. It’s been a four-year journey and battle but now I AM READY AND GOING TO LOSE THE WEIGHT 🙏
However, I have made a number of healthy changes: I quit drinking (I’m almost a year and a half sober), I’m working out again, getting therapy, I eat healthier, etc., but I know without significant changes and a consistent calorie deficit the weight won’t come off. How do you guys stay in a consistent calorie deficit? What do you do when you feel hungry? For me, hunger triggers anxiety and insomnia. Two things I need to manage. I can do plant focused eating but not keto since I hate meat, it just grosses me out. Thank you 🙏
