Hey everyone!! Like every months around the 10, when I hit my goal, I share a photo or something on my social medias. Not only for myself but for others.
Yesterday I shared on fb that I finally lost 90lbs and this girl that has been my friend for a while on fb, we don't talk but she sees and likes my stuff often! After months of sharing now, she private message me and asks me what I'm doing to lose. I explained to her tdee, calories counting, that working on myself and on my emotional eating issues help me a lot to stick to my journey, to not give up and to actually find it enjoyable.
She's also an emotional eater, I've seen her get stuck in these diets of protein shakes and keto(nothing against it just more so the pyramid scheme type ones that sells you products and powder or whatever, not just your usual keto diet..), a lot of yoyo dieting.
She messaged me today to tell me that she calculated her tdee, downloaded Lose it and will try to eat a certain amount of calories and be in a deficit like I explained to her and see how it goes and how she feels. She seems very motivated and told me she needed to do it for her health as she's a young mom.
And that's why I share on social medias, to get messages like these. I'm not a pro, I'm on a journey like everyone else but I'm feeling very grateful that so far my journey has been going very well and I know it's not the case for everyone, weightloss is rough and can be hard to stick to for many.
To all the yo yo dieters out there and y'all struggling, don't give up!!
Also, I feel annoying posting this often on here sometimes but hopefully somes find it motivating or can relate.
