I've been on ozempic for 9 weeks and am down 22lbs (from 203 to 181, goal weight 145ish, 5'5")
I've struggled with my weight my whole adult life and it was actually my Dr who suggested it. Before starting I did a ton of reading and watched tons of tikioks etc because I heard about the side effects, ie nausea, vomiting, no appetite, fatigue, etc
SO! By week 4 I noticed I was starting to be cold, especially my extremities (fingers, nose especially) and then it kept getting worse. And I mean I CANNOT warm up. It's like my bones are frozen, I sleep in a toque and full pj's, 5 blankets. I had to turn up the temp in my house and even on my hot water heater because I was showering with straight hot water and was still cold. Ive even started buying those pain patches that heat up and just wearing them. This from someone who is always HOT. I used to sleep in only a Tshirt in the winter with the heat off in my room. My Dr and I thought I was in early menopause because my hot flashes were so severe.
Has anyone else experienced this?? I'm honestly shocked.
TLDR; used to be a hot sweaty pig of a human even in Canadian winter, after 9 weeks on ozempic I'm frozen to the core 24/7. Help?
