Additional benefit to using kitchen scale

I only had about 30 lbs to lose, but I was really struggling for about 3 years to stick with it. This time, I started using a scale to weigh my food instead of volume measurement, and it's been a game changer.

I found the mental load of guessing and measuring spoons always being dirty was overwhelming. Now I just throw what I need on a plate and document what the scale says, and that's it. No more thinking this is a cup, this is probably a tablespoon, oh I can't find that 3/4 cup measure.

It's never mentioned as an additional benefit of using a scale, so anyone who still hasn't converted - just try it because it's easier!!!
