A few weeks ago, I was on here ranting at the scale. The progress on it was super slow after 3 weeks and it was irritating me. I have no intention to quit, but I got that gamer grinder mentality so I needed to see progress. For those wondering, yes I track my calories, nutrients, and macros religiously everyday.
Last week I decided to buy a tape measure and get my measurements.
Every Friday I do my weekly weigh in, which I'm just gonna call a check in now and now I'm getting a much clearer picture.
Between last week and this week I lost 2 pounds, added roughly two inches to each of my arms, (14" to 16" I'm starting with noodle arms, they're still kinda noodly, so makes sense that much was added in a week), lost an inch in the waist (55" to 54") and a half an inch in the chest.
Two inches of what's likely muscle is a lot. And it goes a long way to explaining why my loss is a little on the slow end.
Moral of the story, if the scale is pissing you off, get a tape measure and start keeping an eye on those measures!
