Protein Powder suggestions

So I’m really starting to get into my fitness and weight lifting and I was wondering what the best protein powder is for my situation. So I live in military dorms so having a kitchen isn’t that easily accessible to me so it’ll be hard for me to make protein shakes. Are shakes the only way you can incorporate the protein powder or can you like put it in some milk and drink it like that? Also I’m not a fan of chalky, crazy thick protein. I don’t really want to get the premade shakes because I don’t want any unnecessary calories or sugar I just want the protein. I don’t have any dietary issues. Any suggestions would be great.

TLDR: What is the best protein powder option for someone who can’t make protein shakes due to living space?
