Got a good reminder today that even a little bit of work is better than none.

5'3" female, started at 185. Started counting calories in early January and dropped ~5 pounds in roughly a month. February and March have been way tougher and I'd say I've only successfully tracked and restricted calories about half of that time. There's been a ton of pizza parties, root beer floats, donuts, etc. at work the past month, plus a lot of extra emotional eating at home. I hadn't weighed myself since February 10th because I just didn't want to know.

Felt like my pants have been looser even with the unstructured eating, so I stepped on the scale this morning and I'm down 2.5 more pounds since that last weigh! So obviously counting when I can has shown some result, even if it's slow. But that was a much-needed win for me this morning.
