My husband and I are both wanting to lose weight and generally eat better (so happy to be on the same page here) but we have a very picky 5 year old who has a really tough time trying new foods. I don’t have it in me to do battle with him every night to get him to try new foods, but I also don’t want to be cooking two separate meals all the time. As well, family meal time is important to us, so eating at a different time is also not an option.
Any fellow parents have tips for sticking to a diet while still keeping their little ones fed and meltdowns to a minimum?
