Frustrated after initially gaining weight (6lbs) after starting to exercise…

I’ve now been exercising nearly daily for the past three weeks (3miles on a slight incline, fast enough to make my puff and a variety of ab exercises and weight machines for 30-45 minutes after). I initially GAINED about 6lbs and am just back at my starting weight today. I know better than to look at the scale daily, but geez, that was disappointing. I feel better and clothes are starting to fit a little better. I’m not sure if it was my body reacting to being “reactivated,” a unhelpful increase in calorie intake, or a combo thereof. Each day I get to the gym is a win. Gonna keep it pushing even if that was a frustrating start in a long-term journey for my health.

That’s all. Just another perspective on the whole thing!
