I've followed this sub for a longtime, but never post. I've learned a lot from here, so I want to tell you about my own transformation and encourage you to keep pushing to be your best!

Hey ya'll! I want to tell you about my own transformation and encourage you to keep pushing to be your best! These photos are 5 years apart.

In 2017 I was medically separated from the Military after 9 years of service in the Coast Guard.

I tore my ACL twice along with a bunch of other knee injuries. I broke my back, my wrist, and my ribs. Diagnosed with arthritis at 25. Lost range of motion in my knees at 20 and my wrist at 25

I gained weight constantly the entire 9 years and honestly I stopped checking the scale at 265.

I was constantly exhausted, I felt sick all the time, disconnected from my body, and completely lost my motivation, drive, and my confidence. I hated taking off my shirt, or looking in the mirror.

No matter what I tried, I couldn’t lose weight. Eventually I stopped trying.

When I got out of the military I kinda panicked. My health and body were in such bad shape.

I found an apprenticeship at a gym. I dove deep into research about strength training. I ended up pursuing different credentials/ schools/ and worked with different coaches and mentors along the way.

In 8 months I lost roughly 80 pounds. I put on a lot of muscle. Overall I lost around 100-110 pounds in a year.
I regained mobility and range of motion in my wrist and my knees at 28, years after losing it.

At 31, I feel leaner, stronger, and younger than I ever did, better than even my teens. I have more energy than any other time in my life.

Fitness, wellness, and mindset are now lifestyle principles I hold strongly and it’s the basis I built my business on.

5 years down the road and I work everyday to make my fitness and health an integral part of my life and work. And it’s important to me to encourage others to do the same!

I hope you found something worthwhile in this post!

With the right mindset and direction, you can and will achieve your goals.
