Weight Loss for Everyone: Anyone ever use food diary history in mfp or other apps as a memory-recall tool? A non-fitness related bonus for cico/good logging.

Anyone ever use food diary history in mfp or other apps as a memory-recall tool? A non-fitness related bonus for cico/good logging.

I've had it come up a few times for random reasons that I wanted to recall what I was doing on a certain day months or maybe even years ago and I will look at my food diary for that day and if I see that I ate something that day outside of my normal packed breakfast/lunch or a typical homecooked dinner, and if I did I have good chances of pretty well instantly recalling a lot of the whole day, like "oh yeah that was the day I had the blackened strips at popeyes right next to the tag agency that I went to after, damn I remember sitting there for hours to let the gov take my money"

Or even homemade stuff if it's somewhat out of the normal "Oh brisket and macaroni that day, I remember when we were smoking it we heard firecrackers down the street and my little one thought I should call the cops! good times!"

Or you could also do it to freak coworkers out with some rainman type stuff "yeah january 20th 2017 I remember that day, we went to louies for lunch and I tried a bite of that andouille fettucine you got"

I also have google maps timeline turned on and can see where I drove or biked to on a certain day but if nothing out of the ordinary there maybe the food log for that day will help.
