Finally making the effort to lose and improve my health again after a 6 month long depressive episode

Hi everybody! So this is my first post to any Reddit community so just give me a heads up if this against the rules. Just wanted to share that I got on my elliptical for the first time in a long time today and I'm super proud of myself.

I've been in a pretty bad depressive slump for a long time, and it's amazing how just getting on my elliptical and going for 30 minutes made my mood and energy so much better. I went for 2.68 miles and burned ~415 calories, listening to Sublime and drinking lots of water to keep me going.

I'm hoping whoever's reading this who may be in a similar situation as me takes this as their sign to step on! I'm hoping I can keep it up and continue to post on this community as I progress more.
