I got an Addiction

For my entire life, I've had this love of peanut butter. While I know this isn't an addiction like with Drugs or alcohol, it's seriously an issue for me losing weight. For almost any food I've eaten, I was able to control myself and either cut it out completely or only take it in moderation (rarely if ever eat junk food now, but peanut butter is my kryptonite and something about it makes it so hard to stop eating. I'm fine when it's not in my home; for the last few months there was no peanut butter and I was perfectly fine, but when it's bought control goes flying out the window, and my weight loss along with it. Any advice on how to get rid of my unhealthy habit?
