Last year by this time I was exercising 6 days a week and trying to eat in a deficit ( looking back I was slightly overeating) . I stuck to my weight loss journey for 5 months until life threw in a curveball and I completely feel off. I had lost around 10kg from what I know to be my heaviest weight. 6 days a week turned to nothing and I began eating for comfort. I managed to maintain my weight for 4 months only gaining around 2/3 pounds until November and decemeber came along and I’ve gained a further 3kg.
Ive been struggling to get a grip over this and get back into it. I’m starting with my eating because as soon as I have control over it, I find it really easy to exercise. Today is the first day I’m making much better food choices and don’t feel the need to snack. I begun eating in my deficit. Because of my dedication last year I always knew it was possible for me to get back on track but I was getting worried because I was taking so long. It just feels good to feel like I’m going to start again. I have a feeling that this time I’m going to reach my goal. I’m going to start going on short walks soon too. Just really wanted to share this.
