Trying to lose weight AGAIN, but struggling to stay below the calorie limit I set.

I am 5"6 and 193 lbs.

3 years ago, I weighed 210 lbs and was able to use CICO to bring my weight down to 150 lbs. At that time, I used to lift weights 3 times a week and my calories ranged from 1200 to 1500.

Earlier this year, I gained much of the weight I had previously lost due to major life events, including getting covid.

This time around, I've been trying to eat 1500 calories a day, but I always end up feeling extremely hungry and eating more. I can't figure out why. Do you have any suggestions for me?
