I have been CONSISTENT in the gym and with counting macros/calories, since August. Backtracked for a week or two in Sept due to an injury but, still have been consistent until today.
I’ve been trying my best to lose weight, I’ve calculated my maintenance and eating below it to be in a deficit. I change my split every 4-6 weeks and challenge myself with weights. In the last 4 weeks I’ve added more cardio and STILL not getting results I want…. WTF GIVES?
I’m 5’7 and 24 year old female at 183lbs. My “maintenance” is at about 1800-1900 calories so I’m eating at about 1400-1500. High protein whole foods and lots of water, and NOTHING. I’m getting desperate and disappointed.
I do have an extremely sedentary day, could I be overestimating my TDEE? I go to the gym from 5-7AM, but literally work from home ALL day on the couch or in bed from 8am-4:30pm. I try to stay moving until bedtime at 10:30pm-ish…. But just nothing, I don’t know where to point to anymore.
