Lost 13 kgs the wrong way, now i want to do it right.

context: i was ~62 kgs in may 2021 and hated my body to the point where i couldn't stand in photos anymore and didnt look at mirrors for more than a few seconds because i didn't want to look at myself. so i decided to lose weight. i wouldnt say i starved myself, but i did restrict myself quite a bit. other than that, i did no exercise. i didn't have a weighing scale in the whole duration of losing weight so i didnt have any means of measuring it. i knew i was losing weight but i underestimated how much i was losing.

fast forward to november 2021, shifted house, finally got a weighing scale and to my horror, i had already hit my goal weight - 49 kgs. i had estimated that i was 55kgs right before i saw the number on the scale. i was very disappointed because i looked nothing like i thought i would look like.not only did i not meet my expectations, i had also because weaker physically (definitely because oof restricting the amount of food i ate + no exercise).

I didnt lose fat proportionately and i want to change that. I finally have access to a gym. There isnt much equipment other than an elliptical cross trainer, a treadmill, an exercise bike and some weights. I want to lose fat and gain muscle. Any idea on how I can proceed with these?
