Do chin exercises actually work?

I have a bit of a chin and it's my biggest insecurity. I really don't know if chin exercises like lifting your chin and stretching your jaw forwards actually work, or if it's more of a trend thing to get clicks on articles and such. I'm 165cm tall and weigh about 63 kg, so if it is a weight thing I understand. I just get so jealous of people who are my size that don't have that problem at all.

Is there a point in doing exercises? Or is it simply genetics or a weight thing? Sorry if this post isn't going anywhere, I just really needed to vent a bit as well as some advice.
