Any advice for someone starting their weight loss journey in a house with so much temptation and so many excuses?

I'm a female who needs to lose 30 pounds. 30 pounds is what I've gained over the course of a few years, but the last 12 came on within just 5 months. I feel like I've reached a point where I absolutely need to do something about it to take back my health and lose 30 pounds and have a healthy BMI and be able to move my body with ease and confidence.

However....I find it incredibly difficult if not impossible to stick to a meal plan while living under the same roof as my husband who is constantly buying unhealthy foods that tempt me. I personally feel like this is just an excuse, so I need help rationalizing my right to lose weight and harnessing the right mindset. I NEED to feel like I am allowed to stick to my own meal plan....that eliminating added sugars and processes cakes does NOT mean I'm missing out on the best things in life...and that just because my husband bought honey nut cheerios and chobani flip cup yogurts and sausage dogs does NOT mean I have to eat them just to get rid of them (I am so guilty of this!!!). But the question is...HOW? How do I do this? Any advice is so appreciated. Thanks in advance xx
