Anybody been able to lose weight with minimal exercise and a good diet?

As much as I love working out, I’m starting to get a burnout. I have a lot of weight to lose, but I’ve been tired physically and mentally. I consume 1400 calories a day and workout 5-6 days a week. I’ve been thinking about keeping my caloric intake the same and minimizing my workout to 3 days a week. Has anyone been successful with this routine? Should I minimize my caloric intake to conform to the new amount of exercise? I really want to dedicate my free time in the day to more hobbies than just exercising, but my hobbies are mostly sedentary.
