My First Big Non-Scale Victory

On my weight loss journey. About 150 more pounds to go from 170lbs to lose.

I don’t have to use a bra extender anymore! I purchased a 46D bra a few months ago because I hadn’t had one in years. I couldn’t fit into most bras anymore, to my own horror. And when I got the 46D, I was given an extender for it. But I was still having it ride up on the sides and it was really uncomfortable. Digging into my upper abdomen.

I went to visit a family member today, and I had to wear a regular bra with my outfit. When I went to put it on, it was closing way past the extension, so out of curiosity, I took it off. To my amazement, it EASILY closed and went on. I spent hours in it. The sides didn’t ride up. It didn’t kill my upper abdomen. Aside from losing about 18lbs, this is the first real progress I have seen, and it really feels amazing.

I’ve been feeling down lately. I took about two weeks off of exercising because I learned I was severely anemic (literally felt like a zombie and like I was dragging my corpse around for months, almost passing out during work outs) and was giving myself a few weeks on iron to feel better. So I got out of the groove and got lazy. Still working my way back up into my three/four times a week.

I pray I stick out the entire 170lb loss. It’s daunting waiting for progress, and I’ve never lost weight in a healthy manner, so I just pray I stay on my road and keep working hard.
