Why does my weight decrease when I sleep, but increase/stay the same if I stay awake within the same timeframe?

I’ve been having trouble sleeping these last 2 weeks and I want to take a day where I stay up so that I can fix my bodyclock but I’ve been reluctant to do it because my bodyweight increases/remains the same as compared to if I went to sleep, where my weight will be less than what it did before I went to bed.

I don’t eat past 10pm and I usually fall asleep around 5am. My weight would usually lower a bit by the time I woke up BUT if I stayed up and weighed myself in the morning, I would actually weigh more. What should I do? Should I just not let the increase in weight stop me from resetting my sleep schedule? Because it genuinely bothers me a lot.
