My first post here, it seems like a lovely, supportive place to bounce experiences and ideas off eachother:)
So I’ve been in/out of hospitals and on/off many meds for the past 5 years and my weight has fluctuated. I’m 36F 5’6 SW 161lbs CW. 135lbs GW 120lbs.
I’ve been able to lose excess weight just by walking once a day, eating healthy (no junk/cheese/breads/pop) and watching my calories.
Now I’ve plateaued at 135 and can’t seem to drop any more weight on my current food program, and I’m not willing to reduce my caloric intake or change any of my foods from what they are. I’m already pretty much vegan, and only eat twice a day (huge chopped salad with 9 types of veggies including alfalfa sprouts/avocado/nuts/cranberry) and miso soup for dinner.
The problem is I have rheumatoid arthritis, Ehlers Danlos hypermobility, and degenerative disk disease. Three spinal surgeries and three complete knee reconstructions already. Exercising is absolutely torture. Anything more than walking and I can’t even turn over in bed to turn off the lamp.
Any suggestions?
