Is my calorie deficit too much?

This is my first time ever losing weight by actually trying my best, and so far I’ve lost a stone. I’m 19, 5’10 male, and started at 238lbs. I’m now at 224lbs. I’ve been consuming 1,900 calories each day, whilst being in a deficit of about 500.

However, today I decided to get a workout in. I did about half an hour of weight lifting and burned about 400 calories through that. Now my fitbit tells me I’ve burned 3,400 calories today, but I’ve consumed 1,900. Is a 1,500 deficit too extreme?

Apologies if this question is stupid, I am new to this so I’m still learning.
