Are fitbits accurate for calories burnt?

The title really sums it up, I bought a fitbit (Versa 2) to track how many calories I was burning daily with the hope it would help with my ed(it didn't lmao) but something doesn't seem right here. Im 20 female, 5'7 and weigh 9.5 stone (133 pounds).

Today I've so far (currently 10:48 at night) ive done 16,822 steps and burnt 2,607 calories. I don't ever click on the workouts on my watch BTW but that just seems wayy too high. I've heard some people say that the fitbits are off by 500-700 sometimes which is ridiculous if true.

It's annoying though because today ive ate roughly about 1800/1900 calories of high protein, filling meals that ive actually enjoyed but somehow im still hungry which I don't understand? I really don't wanna gain anymore weight but struggling to find my maintenance.

Sorry if this isn't the right community to post it, im just a lil confused D;
