Hey everyone! I'm looking to celebrate this milestone with a supportive community.
I'm 26F 170cm and, as of Nov 15, weigh 178.4 lbs. At my highest weight in 2020, I was 208 lbs. This was midway into the first pandemic year and when I was diagnosed with an early grade cancer. I'm cancer free and on maintence treatment :)
I lost the first 10lbs while being on an essentially low carb meal plan. I had to modify my diet bc cancer treatment increased my insulin resistance.
Second 10lbs I lost while on ozempic.
Last 10lbs I lost by starting a CICO diet in September 2022 combined with 4-5km walks everyday and home workouts 3x a week.
I'm 13lbs away from dropping out of the overweight BMI category! My GW is 165lbs.
My family member who has unmanaged bipolar disorder called me a fat slob today and told me my cancer made me a burden. I haven't told anyone I'm deliberately losing weight except my supportive sibling. My mom suspects but I haven't revealed it since she's a little fatphobic.
The scale hit 178.4 today and I feel lonely after that comment from my family. So can I get a hell yeah for my achievement!!
