Confused about rice please help

I cannot find a solid, reliable numerical value for calories in 100 grams of dry, short grain rice. The numbers literally vary wildly.

I saw a post here not long ago from a user who talked about weighing his rice to find out a cup was like 300 cals or something. But I’m not finding anything.

My package says 1/4 cup (45 g) is 160 cals. But I weight 1/4 cup and it was 62 grams. So I’m trying to find the legit calories per gram dry weight and google is saying everything from 186 to 242 to over 300 per 100 grams and I am just confused:/

Thanks
