Back to my first gym...2 years later progress

Wanted to share progress for those who may be where I was 1-2 years ago. Pic on left is 154.6, pic on the right is 153.0! ** I've only been weight training consistently for 5 months **

I was overweight in HS, I am 5'7 and was around 187. I made it my mission to lower my caloric intake as low as possible, shaving down as many lbs as I could, not focusing on muscle or macros at all. I got down to 154 lbs (picture on the left) and went to college, slowly getting into weight training.

In college, I remained active but never really got into lifting and stopped tracking my caloric intake. This past year, I noticed I had regained 8-10 lbs and decided to restart logging food on MFP, take progress pics, and weight train atleast 3-4x a week.

It has been about 5 months since I made this decision, minus a few cheat weeks for vacation, and a cheat day here and there for parties, family outings, etc. I am actively cutting weight, taking in 1800 cals a day with over 200g protein (45,30,25 ideal macro split). I really feel like my lifestyle now is sustainable (diet, weight training splits and routines, and cardio regiments) and excited to share future progress pics. My lifts have gone up substantially this past six months, and I just hit 205 on bench!

So I really just wanted to share to anyone who's 5'7 or 5'8 and "over weight" what can happen with a couple months of hard work and discipline and to see how other bodies look in my weight / height ratio.
