I was always a slight person until Covid and menopause hit at the same time. 178 was HUGE for me and I felt awful. At my age, I have to think about preventing diabetes, knees and other ailments that might affect my life. I could care less how I look or what others think of me, but like I said, I felt awful.
I stopped eating so many carbs - potatoes were my downfall - along with “bored” eating. I’ve found I have waaaaaay more energy and am therefore waaaaay more active. Not a gym person, but I do love swimming and yoga.
It seems like my metabolism has kicked into overdrive - I am always moving now, not able to sit still for long - but I feel really good and man, am I productive!
I am losing about 2-3 pounds a week, pretty consistently. Is this safe?
Wish me luck!
