Hello all,
I've been working out now consistently for a couple of months. I noticed during that time I gained 8 lbs. Lol. I started calorie counting 6 days ago to reverse that. I'm female, 5,8 and was 178 lbs 6 days ago and now I've lost around 2lbs according to the scale. I'm eating roughly 1200-1500 calories per day. I will be alternating between HIIT workouts (incorporating weights) and jogging 6 days per week for approx. 35 mins per day. My workouts are always high intensity. I want to lose approx. 30 lbs total.
I haven't bothered looking at macros at all yet but ideally I want to at least maintain my muscle while I am in a caloric deficit. How many grams of protein should I be eating to achieve that?
Thanks!
