19f - My Mom, Grandma, and all other female relatives have low blood pressure, so when I started blacking out upon standing, almost losing balance/ nearly fainting regularly no one was surprised. I was told that the only thing that had helped my Mom was "getting older and gaining weight." I did notice that when I ate at a caloric surplus I had practically no symptoms, so she was right there...
About a year ago I embarked on my fitness journey to lose my extra 40 pounds- I'm mostly there, maintaining around the -30 mark. The entire time I've been losing weight I've been experiencing hypotension symptoms like never before. It seems I can either be at a caloric deficit, lose weight but have awful low blood pressure or I can eat too much, gain weight but not have any symptoms. Any shared experience/ advice?
