There are great nutrionists out there, a lot of them do videos for YouTube as it is their real passion. But some... Phew, they know the basics and won't care about your needs, only the basic less carbs and no fun, ever.
- If you eat less calories than you burn, you will lose weight. This is all there is to it, doesn't matter what you eat, could be only carbs.
- Diet soda will help you with cravings and never will get you fat, most have less than 1 calorie per litter.
- If you are serious about it, take a year minimum tracking the calories, it is fast and makes you know exactly what you are consuming within a 200 calorie range of failure. Better than not knowing anything.
- Don't care about carbs. Just try to maximize the protein intake within you calorie range. Will make you feel fuller and more energetic.
- There are no natural pills that work, not a single one. Drink coffee or drink tea in moderation, much better and helps.
- 0 calorie sweetners won't give you cancer. Believe me, I'd be dead as of right now.
- A cheat day a week or week in week out is totally fine, I recommend. Will keep you sane and social life matters a lot, you re trying to be at your best as a person, not as an athlete (who also do cheat days so lol). Just don't abuse too much, eat your favorite dish and dessert, be free and don't eat after you feel full. And don't be afraid to once in a month go all out on the food and drinks, create memories on your off days with responsibility.
- Just because the food is plain and healthy, doesn't mean it is smart for weight loss.
- SEASON YOUR DAMN FOOD! Use light Greek yogurt, tomato sauce, light anything to make nice sauces with much less calories.
Some I could think of, if you have any extra ones feel free to tell bellow and I'll edit the post, hope it can help anyone.
