So in the past year or so I have gained back 17 of the 30 something pounds that I lost in 2018. I haven’t weighed myself in like 9 months, so I bought a new scale today to start a new journey to lose weight. I would like to lose 10 pounds, possibly 12.
It kind of sucks to be in this position, and I’ve tried and failed a thousand times to get back on track after I started noticing that I was gaining weight. I just don’t feel like exercising, and I also struggle with binge eating. I’m only 5’1” so it doesn’t take a lot of weight to really become noticeable. I’m growing out of clothes that I just bought a couple weeks ago! It’s getting so out of hand.
So I’m counting calories. I’ve gone back and forth on it, but it’s the easiest way for me. My plan of attack is 1,350 calories M-F and 10,000 steps per day. So far, I’m going to let my weekends be open and not count calories. I’m hoping that by allowing the options that it will help with my binge eating.
This community has been helpful to me in the past, so I’m leaning on it again for support. I used to feel so good about myself, I miss it!
I already packed my lunch for tomorrow and logged it in MyFitnessPal, to give myself the best chance of survival on my first day. Good luck to everybody also trying to lose weight. It feels so overwhelming.
