I am a 28 yo male, 240 pounds, from Canada, I'm about 5'10 and I believe my BF is around 33%.
When I was in my early 20s I managed a consistent gym routine + daily mountain biking and was around 200LB. However over the last few years, both from poor life choices and covid, I have clearly packed on around 40 extra pounds.
Where I'm from the gyms are still closed until further notice. My body+heart are quite out of shape, and get sore from very little work but I really want to begin the process of getting myself back into shape.
My goal is to reach 180LB (No specific date, however I would like to see myself around 200LB by Halloween) which would be about 40Lb lost in 4 months.
What is a good, and safe way for me to introduce my body back into cardio+weight workouts? For cardio my preference is biking, as it's something I'm comfortable with. And for home equipment I don't have much Besides a 15lb dumbbell, ab roller, and skipping rope.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
